There's now a repository for Ubuntu users

Good news for all Ubuntu users who want to use always the newest version of GNOME Color Chooser: There's now a repository for you!

Just add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list and you will receive new versions automatically when updating your system:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/jackthedipper/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/jackthedipper/ubuntu intrepid main

I'm btw both the author of this small utility and the official maintainer of its Debian (and so Ubuntu) packages, so you can be sure that the packages provided there are in a well shape.

The status page of that repository is available here:
https://launchpad.net/~jackthedipper/+archive

I hope this service is useful to you,
JackTheDipper

Hi, Estelle!
Karmic has already the latest version, so you don't need anything else atm.
But yes, if you like to get updates in the future, you should change intrepid to karmic. ;-)

Hi, John!
You can get the key by using this command:

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 3DF05D4D

More details can be found at the link above.
Good luck ;-)

Thanks for the repository, but in ubuntu intrepid the sourcelist is on /etc/apt/sources.list.
Congratulations for your work.
